Most complete end-of-life vehicles purchased by GO Pull-It are worth approximately $200 to $800 or more, but every vehicle is different. Your actual offer depends on the vehicle’s year, make, model, weight, completeness, condition, demand for its used parts, current recycling markets, and pickup location.
The fastest way to learn what your vehicle is worth is to request a no-obligation quote from GO Pull-It. We buy cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs in many conditions, even when they do not run, have been wrecked, or are missing the keys.
GO Pull-It evaluates vehicles based on their potential used-parts value and recycling value. The following factors have the greatest effect on your offer.
Some vehicles have stronger demand for used engines, transmissions, body panels, wheels, electronics, and other components. A vehicle with parts that local customers frequently need may be worth more than a similar-sized vehicle with little parts demand.
Providing the correct VIN helps us identify the exact year, model, engine, drivetrain, and factory configuration.
Once customers have had an opportunity to purchase reusable parts, the remaining vehicle is processed for recycling. Because recycled steel and other metals are sold by weight, heavier vehicles will often have a higher recycling value.
Weight is important, but it is only one part of the offer. Two vehicles of similar weight can have different values based on their parts demand and completeness.
A complete vehicle will generally be worth more than one that has already been stripped. Important components can include:
Tell us if any major components have been removed. Providing accurate information allows us to give you the most reliable quote possible.
GO Pull-It purchases vehicles in many conditions, including vehicles that:
A vehicle does not have to run to have value. However, its condition can affect which parts may still be reusable and how easily the vehicle can be transported.
Used-parts demand changes by vehicle and market. A damaged vehicle may still have valuable components if there are many similar vehicles on the road and strong local demand for replacement parts.
This is one reason a vehicle’s value cannot be determined by weight alone.
Steel, aluminum, copper, and other recycled-material prices change over time. These market changes can cause the value of the same vehicle to rise or fall from one period to another.
A quote obtained several months ago may therefore be different from a quote provided today.
The title and ownership documentation available for the vehicle can affect whether GO Pull-It is legally permitted to buy it.
In certain situations, we may be able to purchase an older, lower-value vehicle without a title. Requirements differ between Florida and Georgia and depend on the vehicle and the circumstances. Our vehicle-buying team can explain what identification and ownership documents are required.
GO Pull-It cannot purchase a vehicle from someone who is not legally authorized to sell it.
Your vehicle’s location and accessibility can affect the cost of retrieving it. When requesting a quote, tell us if the vehicle:
GO Pull-It offers pickup in approved service areas. If you deliver the vehicle directly to one of our locations, we do not incur the expense of picking it up. We pass those savings on to you by paying a higher price for the vehicle.
To help us provide the strongest and most accurate offer:
You do not need to repair, clean, or start the vehicle before requesting a quote.
GO Pull-It bases its offer on the information provided when the quote is prepared. If the vehicle and ownership documents match that information, you should receive the quoted amount without hidden commissions or unexpected towing deductions.
The offer may need to be reevaluated if the vehicle was described incorrectly, major components are missing, the vehicle cannot be legally purchased, or its actual location or accessibility is materially different from what was reported.
Possibly. If the vehicle is still safe, roadworthy, and desirable to another driver, selling it privately may produce a higher price. A private sale can also require advertising, meeting potential buyers, negotiating, and handling the ownership transfer yourself.
GO Pull-It is generally the better fit when the vehicle is damaged, unreliable, too expensive to repair, or ready for end-of-life recycling.
GO Pull-It buys vehicles directly for reuse and recycling. We are not a referral website selling your information to another junk-car buyer.

Yes, GO Pull-It may be able to buy your vehicle without a title in Florida, but only when the vehicle qualifies as a derelict motor vehicle under Florida law. Every seller completing the Florida derelict motor vehicle certificate application must provide valid identification and a clear thumbprint. In GO Pull-It’s experience, FLHSMV will reject the application if the thumbprint is missing, including when the seller is the registered owner.
Generally, a vehicle may qualify for a no-title purchase when it:
If the vehicle does not meet these requirements, you will normally need to obtain a valid title, salvage title, or certificate of destruction before GO Pull-It can purchase it.
Florida counts the vehicle’s model year as the first year. GO Pull-It reviews the model year, not the date you bought the vehicle or the date it stopped running.
Because the qualifying model year changes over time, our vehicle-buying team will verify eligibility using the VIN before approving a no-title purchase.
Yes. Florida’s no-title process for a derelict motor vehicle applies only when the vehicle is valued at less than $1,000 and its primary value is for parts, dismantling, or scrap-metal recycling.
The $1,000 limit refers to the vehicle’s value in its current condition. It does not refer to what the vehicle was worth when it was running or what a repaired version might be worth.
A newer vehicle or a vehicle worth $1,000 or more generally will not qualify for this process, even if it is damaged or no longer running.
If your vehicle qualifies, be prepared to provide:
A valid driver license or identification card from Florida or another state may be accepted. GO Pull-It must retain a legible copy with the required transaction records.
Additional identification or documentation may be required depending on the vehicle’s ownership history.
Yes. GO Pull-It requires a clear thumbprint from every seller completing a Florida derelict motor vehicle certificate application, including the registered owner. This requirement reflects FLHSMV’s application-processing practice. An application may be rejected if the thumbprint is missing.
A right thumbprint is normally used. Another digit may be used if the seller does not have a right thumb. GO Pull-It will ensure that the print and identification copy are included with the required application.
Not necessarily. Florida law may recognize a seller who is not the owner of record when that person has physical possession and responsibility for the vehicle, obtained possession lawfully, and obtained the ownership rights necessary to sell it.
Possession alone is not enough. The seller must truthfully attest to lawful possession and ownership rights, provide valid identification and a thumbprint, and complete the required application. GO Pull-It may decline a purchase if those rights cannot be adequately established.
A signed bill of sale, prior registration, probate document, court order, or other ownership record may help establish how the vehicle was obtained, but no single document guarantees approval.
Not merely because the vehicle was abandoned or left on the property.
Florida law specifically limits when a landlord, towing company, or repair shop can be treated as the seller of a derelict motor vehicle. Generally, one of these parties must first obtain a title, salvage title, or certificate of destruction in its own name.
If someone else left a vehicle on your property, contact the appropriate law-enforcement agency, code-enforcement office, or licensed towing and impound company. GO Pull-It cannot purchase a vehicle from someone who does not have the legal authority to sell it.
A lien does not automatically disqualify every older vehicle, but it must be reviewed before the purchase can be approved.
Florida law requires different procedures and holding periods depending on whether a lien is active and how old it is. FLHSMV may notify the lienholder and provide an opportunity to contest removal of the lien.
A lienholder’s objection or an unresolved ownership record can delay or prevent the purchase. Tell GO Pull-It about any known lien when requesting your quote.
If the vehicle is too new, worth $1,000 or more, or does not qualify as a derelict motor vehicle, you may need to obtain a replacement title before selling it.
You may also need a title if:
GO Pull-It can explain why a particular vehicle does not qualify, but replacement titles and ownership corrections must be handled through the appropriate motor vehicle agency.
No. A qualifying vehicle does not have to run, steer, or have keys.
However, it must be accessible to the tow truck, and you should disclose flat tires, missing wheels, locked steering, blocked access, or other conditions that could affect pickup.
No. Meeting the age and estimated-value requirements does not guarantee approval. GO Pull-It must be satisfied that:
GO Pull-It reserves the right to decline any vehicle that cannot be purchased and documented legally.
GO Pull-It evaluates no-title vehicles at its Jacksonville and Tallahassee locations.
Have the VIN and your identification available when requesting a quote. Tell our vehicle-buying team that the title is missing so we can determine whether the vehicle may qualify before scheduling pickup.
Yes. GO Pull-It offers vehicle pickup in approved ZIP codes surrounding its Jacksonville and Tallahassee, Florida, and Atlanta East and Gainesville, Georgia, locations. Most covered ZIP codes are within approximately 25 miles of a GO Pull-It location, although some approved areas extend farther. Pickup eligibility is determined by ZIP code, vehicle accessibility, scheduling capacity, and confirmation from our vehicle-buying team.
Some Georgia ZIP codes are within range of both Atlanta East and Gainesville. Those overlapping areas are assigned to a primary location for quoting and dispatch, although GO Pull-It may route a pickup differently when operating conditions require it.
Provide the pickup ZIP code when requesting your quote. GO Pull-It will confirm whether pickup is available, identify the servicing location, and provide an available pickup window. Service areas and scheduling capacity can change, so a ZIP code appearing below does not replace final confirmation from our vehicle-buying team.

GO Pull-It does not currently provide pickup in ZIP codes 30101, 30102, 30107, 30115, 30189, 30273, or 30633.
Pickup boundaries are based on practical towing routes, travel time, truck capacity, and the ability to schedule pickups efficiently. A ZIP code can be geographically close to a GO Pull-It location but still fall outside the regular service area.
GO Pull-It may also limit access to military installations, gated properties, parking garages, or locations where a tow truck cannot safely reach the vehicle.
GO Pull-It always allows customers to deliver vehicles directly to one of our locations, even when pickup is not available in the vehicle’s ZIP code. The vehicle and ownership documents must still meet GO Pull-It’s purchase requirements.
Our locations are typically open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. An appointment is not required for customer delivery, but we request that you notify a GO Pull-It representative in advance and tell us when you plan to arrive.
Be prepared to unload the vehicle without assistance from GO Pull-It. If the vehicle cannot be unloaded normally, access may be difficult, or another special circumstance applies, discuss it with a GO Pull-It representative before bringing the vehicle to the location.
If you deliver the vehicle yourself, GO Pull-It does not incur the expense of picking it up. We pass those savings on to you by paying a higher price for the vehicle.
When requesting a quote, be ready to provide:
Yes. GO Pull-It does not charge you a separate fee to pick up your vehicle. Whether GO Pull-It sends one of our own trucks or pays an independent towing vendor, you will not receive a towing bill, pay the driver, or be charged a separate pickup fee after the sale.
Tell us when requesting your quote whether you need pickup or plan to deliver the vehicle yourself. That allows GO Pull-It to provide the correct offer from the beginning.
Picking up a vehicle has a real cost. GO Pull-It must provide a truck and driver or pay a towing vendor to transport the vehicle to one of our locations. When you deliver the vehicle yourself, we do not incur that pickup expense. We pass those savings on to you by paying a higher price for the vehicle.
We don’t pay less to pick it up! We pay more for you to drop it off!
No. Free pickup means you do not pay GO Pull-It or the towing company for transporting the vehicle. If GO Pull-It picks up the vehicle, we are responsible for arranging and paying for the transportation. You will never receive a separate towing invoice.
When you deliver the vehicle, GO Pull-It saves the expense of picking it up and passes those savings on to you through a higher purchase price. That is why the delivery offer is higher. It is not a separate charge collected from customers who need pickup.
No. If GO Pull-It assigns an independent towing vendor, GO Pull-It is responsible for paying that vendor. The customer should not be asked to pay the driver or provide a credit card for an approved GO Pull-It pickup.
If anyone requests payment for a pickup arranged by GO Pull-It, contact a GO Pull-It representative before releasing the vehicle or making any payment.
No separate pickup charge should be deducted after you accept an offer that was prepared with pickup included. The offer may need to be reviewed only if important information is different from what was provided, such as the vehicle’s condition, missing major components, ownership documents, location, or tow-truck accessibility.

Be prepared to unload the vehicle without assistance. Discuss unusual unloading needs, access concerns, or other special circumstances with a GO Pull-It representative before arrival.

Yes. GO Pull-It buys cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs in many conditions, including vehicles that do not run, have accident or mechanical damage, or are missing the keys. The vehicle’s condition does not automatically prevent a sale, but it can affect the offer and the equipment needed for pickup. Describe the vehicle accurately when requesting a quote so GO Pull-It can provide the correct offer and make the proper transportation arrangements.
Acceptance and the offer amount depend on the vehicle’s complete condition, ownership documents, location, accessibility, and whether it still contains its major components.
Yes. Missing keys do not automatically prevent GO Pull-It from buying the vehicle. Tell us before pickup if the keys or key fob are missing. Without a key, the steering may be locked and the vehicle may not shift into neutral. That information helps us determine how the vehicle can be loaded and whether special towing equipment or additional access will be needed.
You normally do not need to pay a locksmith or replace the keys before selling the vehicle. If you have any keys, remotes, or key-fob pieces, provide them with the vehicle.
No. GO Pull-It buys many non-running vehicles. You do not need to repair the vehicle, install a battery, or get it running before requesting a quote. Tell us whether it starts, stays running, and moves under its own power so we can prepare the correct offer and pickup plan.
Yes. GO Pull-It buys many vehicles with collision damage, mechanical damage, fire or flood damage, storm damage, and heavy rust. The type and extent of the damage can affect the value of reusable parts, the vehicle’s recycling value, and how safely it can be loaded. Describe the damage accurately and provide photos if requested.
Often, yes. Missing parts do not always prevent a sale, but missing major components can reduce the offer and affect pickup arrangements. Tell us if the vehicle is missing any of the following:
Do not remove parts after receiving your quote. The offer is based on the condition and equipment described when the quote is prepared.
Before pickup, tell GO Pull-It whether the vehicle:
Advance notice helps GO Pull-It or its towing vendor bring the appropriate equipment and avoid a failed pickup.
No. You do not need to wash, repair, jump-start, or replace the keys or battery before selling the vehicle. Remove your personal belongings and tell a GO Pull-It representative about any unusual condition that could affect safe access or loading.
You can still sell a vehicle that does not run, is damaged, or has missing keys. Tell GO Pull-It exactly what condition the vehicle is in so we can give you the correct offer and arrange the right pickup equipment. You do not need to repair, clean, or replace the keys before requesting a quote.
Possibly. The answer depends on where the vehicle is titled and what the state record shows. Florida has a special process that may allow GO Pull-It to buy a qualifying derelict vehicle even when a lien is still listed. Georgia generally requires the lien to be released first. GO Pull-It must check the VIN, the lien record, and the seller’s right to sell the vehicle before approving the purchase.
Yes, in some cases. Florida law gives licensed salvage dealers a process for certain end-of-life vehicles that qualify as derelict motor vehicles. The vehicle must meet all other legal requirements, and the person selling it must have the legal right to do so. A lienholder’s objection, a stolen-vehicle record, or another ownership problem may delay or prevent the purchase.
If the state record shows no active lien, or shows a lien that has been recorded for at least three years, GO Pull-It must secure the qualifying derelict vehicle for three full business days before dismantling or destroying it. Weekends and holidays do not count toward those three business days. GO Pull-It must also complete the required state and national reporting.
Florida law still provides a process, but the vehicle must be held longer. GO Pull-It must secure the qualifying derelict vehicle for 10 days. Florida’s motor vehicle department then notifies the lienholder that an application has been filed and that the department intends to remove the lien.
If the lienholder does not send a written objection during the 10-day period, the department may remove the lien from its records. If the lienholder says the debt is still owed, the department places a 30-day hold on the vehicle record. This gives the lienholder time to apply for the title or repossess the vehicle.
GO Pull-It cannot dismantle or destroy the vehicle while that hold remains. The vehicle must stay secured until the department removes the hold, the lienholder provides proof that the lien has been satisfied, or the lienholder takes the vehicle.
No. The process controls what happens to a qualifying derelict vehicle. It does not prove that the loan was paid or cancel any other legal obligation the seller may have. The lienholder keeps the right to object and may take steps to recover the vehicle.
If the debt was paid but the lien still appears on the title or electronic record, contact the lender and request a lien release. Clearing the lien before the sale is usually the simplest option.
The Florida lienholder generally submits an electronic satisfaction or completes the required release on the title or other state paperwork. Proof that you made the final payment may not be enough if the lien still appears in the state’s vehicle record.
Usually not until the lien has been released. Georgia does not use Florida’s three-year and 10-day derelict-vehicle process. A vehicle sold through Georgia’s no-title dismantling or scrap process generally must be free of every lien or security interest.
For an electronic lien, the lender must send the lien release through Georgia’s electronic system. For a paper title, the lender may release the lien on the title. If the title is not available, the lender may complete Georgia Form T-4, the Lien or Security Interest Release form.
Georgia has limited rules that may apply to certain older vehicles or older liens, but those rules are not the same as Florida’s three-year process and do not apply to every vehicle. GO Pull-It must review the VIN and state record before accepting the vehicle.
Ask the lender to send the official lien release. A paid-off loan may still appear as an active lien until the lender updates the electronic record or completes the proper release paperwork. A payment receipt by itself may not clear the state record.
If the vehicle has no title and otherwise qualifies for Georgia’s no-title scrap process, the seller must also complete Georgia Form T-7, the Bill of Sale. Form T-7 does not remove a lien and cannot be used instead of a lien release.
Tell GO Pull-It about the lien when requesting your quote. Do not wait until the tow truck arrives. The buying team needs time to check the vehicle record and determine whether the transaction qualifies.
No, not merely because the vehicle was left on the property. A property owner, landlord, towing company, or repair shop must first obtain the legal authority required by the applicable abandoned-vehicle, towing, storage, or repair-lien process. Physical possession alone does not give someone the right to sell the vehicle to GO Pull-It.
Florida GO Pull-It may be able to buy a qualifying derelict vehicle with a lien. A lien recorded for three years or more generally requires a three-full-business-day hold. A lien recorded for less than three years requires a 10-day process that gives the lienholder a chance to object. An objection can create an additional 30-day hold.
Georgia The lien generally must be officially released before GO Pull-It can buy the vehicle. Florida’s three-year process does not apply in Georgia.
No. Simply owning the property where a vehicle was left does not make you the legal owner of the vehicle. This applies to landlords, property managers, homeowners, business owners, and people who purchase property with an unwanted vehicle already on it.
GO Pull-It cannot buy or remove the vehicle as a purchase until someone has the legal authority to sell it. The proper process depends on whether the property is in Florida or Georgia.
If someone left a vehicle on your property:
Do not sell the vehicle, remove parts, dismantle it, or have it hauled to a scrapyard before the proper process is completed.
No. A Florida property owner does not receive ownership of a vehicle merely because it was left on the property.
This includes:
The deed to real estate transfers ownership of the land and buildings. It does not normally transfer ownership of a motor vehicle located on that property.
Florida law allows a property owner, tenant, or authorized representative to have an unauthorized vehicle removed by a towing company when the legal private-property towing requirements are followed.
Depending on the type of property and the circumstances, Florida may require tow-away signs or notice to the vehicle owner before the tow. Different rules may apply to a single-family residence, apartment property, business parking lot, or vehicle blocking normal business operations.
A licensed towing company familiar with private-property towing should determine which requirements apply before removing the vehicle.
The towing and storage company, not the property owner, handles the legal process for an unclaimed vehicle. This generally includes:
The property owner cannot skip this process and sell the vehicle directly to GO Pull-It.
Possibly, but GO Pull-It should not promise that every abandoned-vehicle tow will be free.
Florida law may allow a qualifying private-property tow to be performed without making the property owner responsible for the towing and storage charges. However, the exact arrangement depends on the property, the towing authorization, local requirements, and the towing company’s policies.
Ask the towing company about possible charges before authorizing the removal.
No. A Georgia property owner cannot sell a vehicle merely because it was left on the property.
Buying the real estate does not automatically transfer ownership of a vehicle located there. A landlord also does not become the vehicle owner when a tenant moves away and leaves it behind.
The property owner must use Georgia’s abandoned motor vehicle process.
Georgia generally requires the property owner to contact a towing and storage company that is authorized to handle abandoned vehicles.
Under Georgia’s Abandoned Motor Vehicle Act, towing and storage companies are authorized to remove vehicles from private property at the property owner’s request. The towing company then begins the required abandoned-vehicle process.
A private property owner should not move the vehicle to GO Pull-It or attempt to complete the towing company’s process personally.
The authorized towing and storage company generally must:
Only an authorized business may use this process to obtain and enforce an abandoned-vehicle lien.
That depends on the towing company and the circumstances. GO Pull-It should not guarantee that the property owner will never be charged.
Ask the towing company to explain any removal, storage, or administrative charges before authorizing the tow.
Contact the owner and ask that person to remove the vehicle or legally transfer it.
If the registered owner wants to sell the vehicle to GO Pull-It, the owner may be able to complete the sale directly. The owner must provide the required identification, title, or state-approved no-title paperwork.
A property owner cannot sign for the vehicle owner unless the property owner has a valid power of attorney or other legal authority that GO Pull-It can verify.
A missing title does not make an abandoned vehicle available for anyone to take or sell.
Florida and Georgia both have limited ways to purchase certain older, low-value vehicles without a title. However, the person presenting the vehicle must still own it or have the legal right to sell it.
Finding the vehicle on your property does not, by itself, give you that right.
The same rules still apply. A vehicle may have a registered owner, lienholder, theft record, or other ownership history even when it:
The VIN and available government records must be checked before the vehicle is sold or destroyed.
Not as a vehicle purchase. GO Pull-It’s pickup service is used to transport vehicles that GO Pull-It has legally agreed to buy. It is not a private-property impound or abandoned-vehicle towing service.
Until ownership or sale authority has been established, contact a licensed towing and storage company that handles abandoned vehicles.
Possibly. Once the abandoned-vehicle process is finished, GO Pull-It can review the documents and determine whether the vehicle can legally be purchased.
Depending on the situation, acceptable documents may include:
GO Pull-It’s title team must review the VIN and documents before approving the purchase or scheduling pickup.
Florida A landlord or property owner may be able to have an unauthorized vehicle removed by a licensed towing company, but the property owner does not automatically own the vehicle and cannot sell it directly to GO Pull-It.
Georgia A property owner must use an authorized towing and storage company. That company follows Georgia’s notice, lien, and court process. The property owner cannot sell the vehicle merely because it was left behind.
In either state, contact a licensed towing company first. Once the legal process establishes who has the right to sell the vehicle, GO Pull-It can review the paperwork and determine whether we can buy it.

The two-hour window allows the driver time to account for traffic, loading conditions, and earlier pickups while still giving you a reasonable time to expect the truck.
Please make sure that you or another authorized person is available throughout the scheduled window.
Yes. The driver will call to confirm the appointment before driving to the vehicle.
Keep your telephone nearby and answer calls during and shortly before your scheduled pickup window. The call may come from a number you do not recognize.
The driver will not proceed to the vehicle if the appointment cannot be confirmed. If you do not answer the driver’s call, the pickup may have to be rescheduled. This confirmation helps prevent the driver from traveling to a vehicle when:
Answering the confirmation call is one of the most important things you can do to keep your pickup on schedule.
You will be paid on the spot when GO Pull-It picks up the vehicle. The driver will complete the required transfer paperwork and provide payment during the pickup. You do not have to wait for GO Pull-It to receive or process the vehicle before getting paid.
GO Pull-It pays with cash or check depending on the pickup location and the state and local rules that apply to the transaction.
A GO Pull-It representative can tell you which payment method will be used when your pickup is scheduled.
To help the pickup go smoothly, have the following ready:
Remove your personal belongings from the vehicle before the driver arrives. Tell GO Pull-It in advance if the vehicle is blocked, located behind a locked gate, inside a garage, missing wheels, or otherwise difficult to access.
GO Pull-It can typically pick up your vehicle within one to two business days. Your pickup will be scheduled within a two-hour window, and the driver must call to confirm the appointment before traveling to the vehicle.
Make sure you answer the telephone. The driver will not complete the pickup if the appointment cannot be confirmed.
When the vehicle is picked up, you will be paid on the spot by cash or check, depending on the location and applicable state or local requirements.
The best choice depends on your vehicle’s condition, how quickly you want to sell it, and how much work you are willing to do. A clean, dependable vehicle that is still safe to drive may bring the highest price through a private sale. Trading it in may be the most convenient option when purchasing another vehicle. Selling to GO Pull-It may be the best choice when the vehicle is damaged, does not run, needs expensive repairs, or has reached the end of its useful life.
A private sale may be the best option when the vehicle:
Because a private buyer may value the vehicle as transportation, that buyer may pay more than a recycler would pay based on the vehicle’s used-parts and recycling value.
Selling privately usually requires more time and effort. You may need to:
You may also continue paying for insurance, registration, storage, or repairs while waiting for the vehicle to sell.
A higher advertised price does not always mean a higher final payment. Buyers may negotiate, request repairs, or fail to complete the purchase.
A trade-in may make sense when you are purchasing another vehicle and want to complete both transactions at the dealership.
Trading in your vehicle can be convenient because:
Depending on the state and the transaction, a trade-in may also affect how sales tax is calculated on the replacement vehicle. Ask the dealership to explain the purchase price, trade allowance, fees, financing, and tax treatment separately.
The dealership’s trade-in offer may be lower than the amount you could receive from a private buyer.
Dealers may also place limited value on a vehicle that:
Always evaluate the complete transaction. A dealership may increase the trade allowance while changing the price, financing terms, fees, or discounts on the vehicle you are purchasing.
Selling to GO Pull-It may be the best option when your vehicle:
GO Pull-It buys end-of-life cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs for their reusable parts and recycling value. We are the recycler, not a referral service that buys the vehicle and resells it to another recycler.
Sometimes a private buyer will pay more for a roadworthy vehicle because that person plans to drive it.
GO Pull-It evaluates vehicles based on factors such as:
GO Pull-It does not price an end-of-life vehicle according to the amount a private buyer might pay to continue driving it. Our offer is based on its parts and recycling value.
Selling to GO Pull-It provides a simpler alternative to advertising the vehicle or negotiating with private buyers.
Benefits may include:
GO Pull-It can typically schedule pickup within one to two business days after the offer and required information have been confirmed.
Do not compare only the advertised or quoted prices. Compare what you will actually receive after considering:
You can request a GO Pull-It quote without committing to the sale. Compare that offer with a realistic private-sale price and the dealership’s complete trade-in proposal.
Sell the vehicle privately if it is roadworthy, desirable, and worth the additional time and effort required to find a buyer.
Consider trading it in if you are purchasing another vehicle and value the convenience of completing both transactions through the dealership.
Consider GO Pull-It if the vehicle is damaged, does not run, needs expensive repairs, or has reached the end of its useful life. GO Pull-It provides a direct sale to the recycler, can arrange pickup for qualifying vehicles, and pays when the vehicle is transferred.
After GO Pull-It buys a vehicle, it is processed so its usable parts and recyclable materials can be recovered. Vehicles purchased through our junk-car buying service are generally not bought so they can be repaired and resold as ordinary used vehicles.
GO Pull-It is an automotive recycler. Our goal is to reuse as much of each vehicle as possible and properly recycle what remains.
The vehicle is first received and processed at a GO Pull-It location. This includes recording the vehicle information and completing the required ownership and vehicle-disposition paperwork.
The vehicle then goes through an environmental preparation process before it is placed in the self-service yard.
Vehicles contain fluids and materials that must be handled properly. Before customers are allowed to remove parts, GO Pull-It prepares the vehicle for safe placement in the yard.
This process may include:
GO Pull-It uses designated processing areas and works with qualified recycling companies to properly handle materials that cannot be reused or processed at our facilities.
After the vehicle has been processed, it may be placed in the GO Pull-It Superyard.
Vehicles are placed on stands, arranged in rows, and grouped by manufacturer. Customers bring their own tools and remove the parts they need.
Depending on the vehicle’s condition, reusable parts may include:
Reusing an original vehicle part keeps that part in service and may help another customer repair a vehicle for much less than the cost of buying a new replacement.
No. GO Pull-It is a self-service auto-parts yard. We generally leave usable parts on the vehicle so customers can choose and remove the parts they need.
This is different from a full-service salvage yard, where employees remove parts, label them, and store them in a warehouse.
Because customers perform the removal work at GO Pull-It, we can offer many used parts at prices below those commonly charged by full-service salvage yards and other traditional parts sources.
A vehicle will typically remain in the yard for approximately 45 to 120 days. The amount of time depends on the number of vehicles being set in the yard, the size of the yard, and the arrival of new inventory.
When the vehicle has reached the end of its time in the yard, the remaining shell is removed for further recycling.
The remaining vehicle may contain:
The vehicle shell is normally crushed or otherwise processed, and the recovered metals are sent to processors that can use them in the production of new materials and products.
No. GO Pull-It tries to reuse or recycle as much of each vehicle as reasonably possible.
Reusable parts are made available to customers. Metals and other recyclable materials are separated and processed. Fluids and regulated materials are handled through appropriate recycling or disposal methods.
The only thing from the vehicles that GO Pull-It puts in a landfill is the trash we clean out of the cars before processing.
Yes. Remove all personal belongings before GO Pull-It takes possession of the vehicle.
Check the:
You should also remove any documents containing personal information and handle the license plate according to the requirements of your state.
Once the vehicle has been transported, processed, and placed in the yard, recovering personal belongings may be difficult or impossible.
After GO Pull-It buys your vehicle, we process it as an automotive recycler. Fluids and regulated materials are removed or properly handled, and the vehicle may be placed in our self-service yard so customers can reuse its working parts.
After the useful parts have been removed, the remaining vehicle is processed for its recyclable metals and other materials. This allows one unwanted vehicle to help repair many other vehicles while keeping reusable parts and recyclable materials out of landfills.
A self-service salvage yard allows customers to locate a vehicle, bring their own tools, and remove the used parts they want to purchase.
“Self-service,” “U-pull-it,” “you-pull-it,” and “pull-your-own-parts” generally describe the same type of salvage yard. GO Pull-It operates using this self-service model.
Because customers remove their own parts, GO Pull-It can sell many parts for less than a traditional full-service salvage yard.
The basic process is:
Vehicles are placed on stands and arranged in clearly numbered sections and rows.
Yes. Bring the hand tools or battery-powered tools needed to remove your part.
GO Pull-It does not sell, loan, or rent regular tools, and electrical outlets are not provided. Grinders and cutting torches are not allowed in the yard.
Wheelbarrows and engine hoists are available for customers to use free of charge. Wheelbarrows are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Return all equipment when you are finished so it is available for other customers.
Many vehicles share the same parts even when they have different model names or were manufactured in different years. A manufacturer may use the same engine, transmission, alternator, starter, suspension component, or other part in several different vehicles for several years.
This is called part interchange.
When you arrive, tell the GO Pull-It representative the year, make, and model of the vehicle you are working on and the part you need. Our computer system can look up most major parts and identify other vehicles that use the same part.
The system then compares that interchange information with GO Pull-It’s current vehicle inventory. We can provide you with a list of vehicles in the yard that may contain a matching part.
An interchange report may include vehicles with:
Part interchange gives customers a much larger selection of possible donor vehicles. Instead of searching only one year and model, you may be able to inspect several different vehicles that use the same part.
Part-interchange searches are a free service. GO Pull-It representatives are happy to provide as many part searches as a customer needs.
After receiving your interchange report, you will proceed into the yard to find the listed vehicles.
The yard is divided into sections generally organized by the vehicle’s manufacturer or origin. Examples may include:
Each section is assigned a number, and the row numbers follow the section number. For example, if Imports are located in the 100 section, the rows in that section may be numbered 101, 102, 103, and so on.
Your interchange report will list information for each possible donor vehicle, including:
Each vehicle has a stock-number sticker located on the left rear side.
To find the correct vehicle:
The numbered sections, rows, and stock numbers make vehicles easy to find even though there are thousands of vehicles in the yard.
An interchange report identifies vehicles that may use the correct part. It does not guarantee that the part is still attached to the vehicle or that it is in usable condition. Inspect the part and compare it with your original before purchasing it.
GO Pull-It uses fixed pricing for each type of part. The price generally does not change because of the vehicle’s make, model, or year.
For example, the listed price for a particular type of headlight applies whether it is removed from a common economy car or a more expensive vehicle.
Customers should review the current price list before removing a part. Some items may also have environmental fees, core charges, or optional warranty costs.
At a self-service yard, the customer performs the labor required to:
GO Pull-It does not have to remove, clean, label, test, warehouse, and retrieve every individual part. Those labor and handling savings help make lower parts prices possible.
Almost all the parts sold at GO Pull-It are OEM parts. OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer. These parts may be used, but they are genuine original parts made for or installed by the vehicle manufacturer.
They are not aftermarket replacements or questionable knockoff parts purchased through eBay, Amazon, or another source of unknown origin and quality.
The basic idea is simple: you do the work, so you receive the savings.
At a full-service salvage yard, employees do the work for the customer.
The yard:
A full-service yard is useful when a customer cannot remove the part, needs a part shipped or delivered, or wants more information about a specific component before purchasing it.
The additional labor, storage, inventory management, delivery, and handling make full-service parts more expensive.
A full-service salvage yard is like a sit-down restaurant.
You sit down, look at the menu, and tell the waiter what you want. The restaurant prepares the food and brings it to you. When you are finished, you pay the bill and leave. The business performs most of the work for you.
A self-service salvage yard is more like a cafeteria.
You come in, get your own tray, plate, and utensils, walk down the line, and choose what you want. When you reach the end, you pay for your food and carry it to the table. When you are finished, you probably put your own tray away.
At a full-service salvage yard, the business does the work. At a self-service salvage yard, the customer does the work but pays much less for the part.
Before entering a GO Pull-It yard:
Vehicles are placed on stands, so customers are not permitted to use their own jacks.
Customers must be at least 18 years old to enter alone. A person who is 16 or 17 may enter when accompanied by an adult.
GO Pull-It is designed as a self-service yard. Customers are responsible for removing the parts they want to purchase.
If you cannot safely remove a part, consider bringing someone with the necessary experience or using a full-service salvage yard.
Never attempt a repair or removal that is beyond your tools, experience, or physical ability.
Keep the original receipt and make sure the part is properly marked by GO Pull-It.
Under the current return policy, an eligible part may be exchanged for a matching part or returned for store credit within 30 days of the original purchase. Restrictions apply, and admission fees, labor, and certain charges are not included.
Review the complete return policy before purchasing or disassembling a part.
Because you provide the labor, you can save money on genuine OEM used parts.
At a full-service salvage yard, employees remove, inventory, store, and deliver parts for customers. That is more convenient, but the additional labor, storage, delivery, and handling are reflected in the price.
Think of full-service as a sit-down restaurant and self-service as a cafeteria. At a full-service yard, the business does the work. At a self-service yard, you do the work and receive the savings.
No. GO Pull-It can tell you whether a vehicle is listed in our inventory, but we generally cannot confirm that a specific part is still attached to that vehicle.
GO Pull-It is a self-service salvage yard. Customers remove parts from vehicles throughout the day, and individual parts are not continuously tracked as they are removed.
The only reliable way to confirm that a part is present and in acceptable condition is to visit the yard and inspect the vehicle yourself.
A GO Pull-It inventory listing may provide:
This information can help you decide whether a vehicle may have the part you need and where to find it in the yard.
An inventory listing confirms that the vehicle was entered into GO Pull-It’s vehicle inventory. It does not confirm that every part shown in a photograph is still available.
Parts availability changes constantly in a self-service yard.
A part may be:
Sometimes used parts have damage. The amount of damage that may be acceptable is very subjective. A part that is acceptable to one customer may not be acceptable to another customer.
For these reasons and others, GO Pull-It does not offer a “go check” service. We do not send an employee into the yard to inspect a part and decide whether it is present or in acceptable condition for a customer.
This is simply the nature of a self-service salvage yard. Customers inspect the available vehicles and decide whether a part meets their individual needs.
If you need guaranteed part availability, contact a full-service automotive recycler that inventories individual parts.
A part may also be removed after you check the website but before you arrive at the yard.
Because of these changes, a telephone call, website listing, or vehicle photograph should not be treated as a guarantee that a specific component is available.
No. GO Pull-It primarily inventories complete vehicles, not every individual component still attached to them.
Full-service salvage yards often remove parts, assign each one an inventory number, and store them in a warehouse. That system may allow the business to confirm that a specific part is available.
GO Pull-It leaves parts on the vehicles so customers can inspect and remove them. This self-service approach helps keep prices low, but it means individual part availability cannot be tracked in real time.
Photographs can be helpful, but they are not a guarantee.
A photograph shows how the vehicle appeared when the picture was taken. Another customer may have removed the part since then. The photograph may also be too old, distant, or unclear to confirm the exact part or option.
Use photographs as a guide, not as confirmation that the part will still be available when you arrive.
Yes. A part may fit your vehicle even if it comes from a different model or model year.
GO Pull-It provides a free interchange service that can help identify other vehicles that may use the same component. Ask a GO Pull-It representative to look up the part before entering the yard.
The interchange information can help identify possible matches, but you are still responsible for inspecting the part and confirming that it is correct for your vehicle.
When possible, bring:
More information makes it easier to identify the correct interchange.
Before visiting:
GO Pull-It receives new vehicles regularly. If the part is not available today, check the inventory again and consider signing up for vehicle notifications.
No. GO Pull-It does not hold parts.
Parts remain attached to the vehicles until a customer removes them. Another customer may remove or purchase the part before you arrive.
Do not make repair appointments or other commitments based only on an online vehicle listing or an unconfirmed part.
Inspect the part carefully before removing and purchasing it.
Check for:
For complicated components, research the interchange before visiting and compare the replacement part with your original part.
GO Pull-It offers a standard 30-day warranty and an optional one-year extended warranty.
Keep your original receipt and make sure the part is properly marked by GO Pull-It. The original part, receipt, and applicable warranty requirements will be needed to process a return or exchange.
The standard warranty provides coverage for 30 days after the original purchase.
During that period, an eligible part may be:
The standard warranty does not provide a cash refund.
Restrictions apply, and the labor required to remove, replace, or install the part is not included.
Customers may purchase an extended warranty that provides one year of coverage.
During that one-year period, an eligible part may be exchanged for a replacement. If GO Pull-It does not have an acceptable replacement – or if the customer prefers a refund – the customer can receive cash back instead of store credit, subject to the extended-warranty terms.
The extended warranty can be an especially good value for:
Ask a GO Pull-It representative about the extended-warranty price and coverage when purchasing the part.
GO Pull-It updates its vehicle inventory every night. Vehicles placed in the customer yard and vehicles removed from the yard are included in that nightly update.
In addition, GO Pull-It performs a complete physical inventory of each yard every month. This helps us locate misplaced vehicles and correct any differences between the yard and our computerized inventory.
No. The online inventory is updated nightly rather than continuously throughout the day.
If a vehicle is placed in the yard or removed from the yard during the day, that change will be included in the next nightly update. Because of this, a same-day change may not appear online immediately.
A vehicle is “set” when it has been processed and placed in the customer-accessible yard.
When a vehicle is set, its inventory information may include:
The newly set vehicle is added during the nightly inventory update.
Vehicles are eventually removed from the customer yard as inventory is rotated and new vehicles arrive.
When a vehicle is pulled from the yard, its removal is included in the nightly update. The vehicle should no longer appear as available after that update is completed.
Computerized records are helpful, but vehicles can occasionally be placed in the wrong row or moved to a different location.
Once each month, GO Pull-It conducts a complete physical inventory of the yard. Our team compares the vehicles physically present with the computerized inventory.
If a vehicle is misplaced or its location is incorrect, we can find it and correct the inventory record.
No. GO Pull-It’s inventory tracks complete vehicles, not every part attached to them.
Customers remove parts throughout the day. A vehicle may still be listed in the inventory even though the part you need has already been removed, is damaged, or is not the correct version for your vehicle.
The inventory can tell you whether a donor vehicle is listed and where it should be located. It cannot guarantee that a particular part is still attached or in acceptable condition.
When you find a promising vehicle:
New vehicles arrive regularly, so check the inventory often and consider signing up for vehicle notifications.
Part interchange helps you find compatible replacement parts from vehicles that may be a different year, make, or model from the vehicle you are repairing.
Vehicle manufacturers often use the same part in several models and continue using that part for several model years. Because of this, the vehicle containing the part you need may not look exactly like your vehicle. Part interchange helps you find those additional donor vehicles.
Tell a GO Pull-It representative what vehicle you are working on and which part you need. Our computerized interchange system will:
The interchange report will show information such as:
This service is free. We are happy to perform as many interchange searches as you need.
Start with the following information:
For some parts, the representative may also need additional information, such as:
Providing accurate information helps the system produce the best possible interchange results. If you have the VIN, a photograph of the original part, or a visible part or casting number, keep that information available in case it is needed.
Outside parts cannot be brought into the yard, so take clear photographs and write down any numbers before visiting.
No. That is the main advantage of using part interchange.
A part from one model year may have been used for several years. The same part may also have been installed in another model. An interchange search expands your choices beyond vehicles that exactly match the year and model you are repairing.
If you search the inventory only for an identical vehicle, you could overlook several vehicles containing a compatible part.
GO Pull-It organizes the yard into numbered sections based on vehicle origin or manufacturer. Examples may include Imports, GM, Ford, and Chrysler.
Each section has numbered rows. For example, if Imports is the 100 section, the rows may be numbered 101, 102, 103, and so on.
Your interchange report will identify the row and stock number for each matching vehicle. Once you enter the yard:
This system makes it easy to locate specific vehicles, even though each GO Pull-It yard may contain thousands of vehicles.
No. An interchange report identifies vehicles that were manufactured with a potentially compatible part, but it is not a fitment guarantee.
Differences can still exist because of:
Before removing a part, compare it carefully with photographs, measurements, part numbers, casting numbers, mounting locations, and electrical connections from your original part.
No. GO Pull-It’s inventory tracks complete vehicles, not every individual part attached to them.
The part may have already been removed by another customer. It may also be damaged, incomplete, or in a condition that you do not consider acceptable. Parts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Because GO Pull-It is a self-service yard, customers must inspect the donor vehicle and decide whether the available part meets their needs.
Return to the counter and ask a GO Pull-It representative to perform another interchange search. The representative may be able to:
There is no charge for additional interchange searches.
Bring your own permitted tools, wear closed-toe shoes, and dress for outdoor mechanical work. Gloves, safety glasses, long pants, and appropriate work clothing are strongly recommended.
GO Pull-It does not sell, rent, or loan tools, and electrical outlets are not provided.
Bring the tools necessary to remove the part you plan to purchase. Depending on the job, this may include:
Portable compressors and generators are permitted, but all equipment must be used safely and in accordance with yard rules.
Before visiting, research how the part is removed so you can bring the correct sizes and types of tools.
Do not bring or use:
GO Pull-It vehicles are already placed on stands. Personal jacks are not permitted.
Wheelbarrows and engine hoists are available for customer use at no additional charge.
Wheelbarrows are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Equipment quantities are limited, so availability cannot be guaranteed.
Return all equipment promptly after use so it is available for the next customer.
Wear clothing suitable for working around used vehicles and automotive parts.
Recommended clothing and protective equipment include:
Sandals and open-toe shoes are not allowed.
No. Customers may not bring outside automotive parts into the customer yard.
Before visiting, take clear photographs of the original part and write down any identification, casting, or part numbers. Photograph the mounting points and electrical connectors so you can compare them with the replacement part.
No. Backpacks are not permitted.
Buckets, toolboxes, and tool bags are allowed and may be inspected when you leave the yard.
Bring another person who can safely help you. Do not attempt to lift or control a heavy engine, transmission, body panel, or other assembly by yourself.
Use an engine hoist or wheelbarrow when appropriate. Never attempt a removal that is beyond your tools, experience, or physical ability.
Eligible GO Pull-It used parts include a standard 30-day warranty. Customers may also purchase an extended warranty that provides one year of coverage and additional refund protection.
Keep your original receipt and make sure a GO Pull-It employee properly marks the part before you leave.
The standard warranty is valid for 30 days after the original purchase.
During that period, an eligible part may be:
The standard warranty does not provide a cash refund.
If a replacement is unavailable, the customer receives store credit rather than cash back.
The optional extended warranty provides one year of coverage.
During the coverage period, an eligible part may be exchanged for a replacement. If GO Pull-It does not have an acceptable replacement – or if the customer wants a refund – the customer may receive cash back instead of store credit, subject to the extended-warranty terms.
The extended warranty can be a particularly good value for:
Ask about the extended warranty when purchasing the part. It must be added at the time of purchase.
To process an eligible return or exchange:
Parts that have been disassembled after purchase cannot be returned or exchanged.
No. The warranty applies to the eligible part only.
GO Pull-It does not pay for:
Admission fees are not refundable and do not qualify for store credit.
Under the standard return policy, store credit is based on the eligible part price and does not include the environmental fee.
Before leaving:
GO Pull-It’s standard warranty provides 30 days to exchange an eligible part or receive store credit. It does not provide cash back.
The optional extended warranty provides one year of coverage. It allows an eligible exchange and provides cash-back protection when a replacement is unavailable or the customer prefers a refund, subject to the extended-warranty terms.
Keep your receipt, make sure the part is marked, and do not disassemble it after purchase.
A core charge is a refundable deposit added to certain recyclable automotive parts. You pay the part price plus the core charge when purchasing the replacement part. The core charge is refunded when you return the qualifying original part within 30 days.
CORE stands for “Cash on Receipt of Exchange.”
Many automotive parts contain materials or components that can be reused, rebuilt, or recycled.
A core charge encourages customers to return their old parts instead of throwing them away. Returning cores helps conserve materials and keeps automotive components out of the landfill.
Think of the core charge as a deposit rather than part of the permanent purchase price.
Core charges commonly apply to certain recyclable mechanical and electrical components. Check the GO Pull-It parts price list or ask a representative before removing the part.
The applicable core charge is paid in addition to the listed part price.
To receive the applicable core refund:
Outside parts are not permitted inside the customer yard. Bring the core directly to the designated return area or sales counter as instructed by GO Pull-It staff.
The returned core should be the same general type of part as the replacement part for which the core charge was paid.
Acceptance requirements can vary by component. Before disassembling, discarding, or substantially altering the original part, ask a GO Pull-It representative what must be returned for the core to qualify.
No. A core return gives you back the deposit paid when you return your original component for recycling. The replacement part does not have to fail before you return the core.
A warranty return applies when the replacement part does not work, does not fit, or otherwise qualifies for return under the applicable warranty.
If you do not return a qualifying core within 30 days, you do not receive the core-deposit refund.
You may keep the original part, but the core charge remains part of your total cost.
A core charge is a refundable recycling deposit. Pay the deposit when you purchase the replacement part, then return the qualifying original component with your receipt within 30 days to receive the applicable core refund.
Keep your receipt and ask a GO Pull-It representative what must be returned before disassembling or discarding the original component.
GO Pull-It sells used engines and transmissions at fixed prices based on the type of assembly or engine package selected – not the vehicle’s make, model, or year.
These are self-service used parts. Customers locate the donor vehicle, inspect the assembly, remove it, and bring it to the sales counter. Review the current price list and warranty choices before beginning the removal.
Engine pricing depends on which engine package the customer purchases.
GO Pull-It currently offers the following engine-package levels:
This is the most basic engine option. It includes the stripped engine block and internal components but does not include the cylinder heads.
This package includes:
It does not include the intake manifold, exhaust manifold, water pump, turbo, wiring harness, or exterior accessories.
This package includes the primary engine assembly and components such as:
It does not include accessories such as the alternator, starter, air-conditioning compressor, accessory brackets, turbo, engine mounts, wiring harness, intake tube, mass-airflow sensor, or air box.
This is the most complete take-out engine package. It includes the engine assembly plus major rotating accessories, including:
It does not include the wiring harness, engine mounts, turbo, catalytic converter, intake tube, mass-airflow sensor, or air box.
Ask a representative to confirm what is included before removing the engine.
Used transmissions are priced according to the transmission category shown on the parts price list for the selected GO Pull-It location.
Prices are fixed by part type rather than by the donor vehicle’s make, model, or year. Core charges, environmental fees, warranty charges, or other applicable fees may be listed separately.
Confirm the price, core charge, and what must be included with the transmission before beginning removal.
Do not assume that an engine or transmission has been tested simply because the donor vehicle appears in the inventory.
GO Pull-It is a self-service recycler. Customers are responsible for inspecting the assembly and deciding whether its visible condition is acceptable. Ask a GO Pull-It representative what information, if any, is available about the specific donor vehicle.
An inventory listing, photograph, or interchange report does not guarantee the mechanical condition of an engine or transmission.
Before beginning:
Engines and transmissions are heavy. Do not attempt removal without the necessary experience, equipment, and help.
Eligible engines and transmissions are covered by the warranty selected at purchase.
The standard warranty provides 30 days of coverage. An eligible assembly may be exchanged for a replacement or returned for store credit. The standard warranty does not provide a cash refund.
Customers may purchase an extended warranty that provides one year of coverage. Under the extended warranty, an eligible assembly may be exchanged. If an acceptable replacement is unavailable – or if the customer prefers a refund – the customer may receive cash back instead of store credit, subject to the extended-warranty terms.
No. The warranty applies to the eligible engine or transmission only.
GO Pull-It does not pay for:
Keep the original receipt and make sure the engine or transmission is properly marked before leaving GO Pull-It.
